Wow, even Nirenberg is saying to vote no. It must be bad.
But don't bother looking for it on the SAEN home page. It's not there.
ETA: the daily fishwrap posted it online at 1:37 p.m.
We were watching the Texas nature show last nite on KLRN and when they did the break update, they dropped in the Nuremburg note. War Department was stunned that he said to vote no. I did a double take as well. Must mean the Castro Communists are all for it.
I thought Nirenberg and Castros were on the same team?
Nirenberg is on that team when it is convenient for him. Nirenberg has walked a fine line with the business community. Even though he is almost a shoe-in for his final term as mayor, I don't hink he wants to die on this hill.
Ananda Tomas and he band of commi...progressives got pretty aggressive with this ballot initiative and put a lot of controversial things in with a couple of things that could have had widespread support. As people start learning more about this they are finding out the overall package looks pretty sketchy. Assuming this thing passes, hopefully the state can shut it down.
