Howdy y'all I lost my ring in 5ft deep water along the bank of lake McQueeny last night. I have a good idea of where it is I just don't have the proper equipment to find it. If any one that dives around the area would be willing to help an Aggie out I would be glad to pay.

I'm never not a diver but I do love at Lake McQueeney, where did you lose it?

One of my buddies has a rental property just north of the lake proper along the Guadalupe. I'm not sure how to describe it using physical landmarks .

Lost mine twice in Lake Tyler in 5' of water. About 5 years apart. Young man in high school felt around the bottom where we thought it went in and brought it up. Same young man 5 years later found it in 5' of water. Both times playing water volleyball. Lost it in Colorado this summer. Went to town and rented a metal detector. Found it on 3rd trip out covering the same area we saw it roll down a hill. I think my good fortune is all used up. Going to get it sized smaller.

Get some goggles and a metal detector

Or don't wear it near water.

I use to put mine in my golf bag, inside a crown royal bag (don't judge, I was young and dumb) with all my tees, keys, etc. At the end of a round I dug out my keys but no ring. Looked all through the bag and saw nothing. I played back the round in my head and remembered getting more tees out on the 12th tee box so a ran back out there and sure enough, it was right next to the tees. Surprised that through 6-8 groups, no one saw it or picked it up.

I don't want to give it two more chances like you.

McQueeney is way too cloudy, although now that it is drained, it might be a little better.

If I understand the area the ring was lost in, then the water should be pretty clear with the low flow rates

Plus not having the constant boat traffic let's everything settle out too. I haven't been out to our house since they dropped it so don't know.
