With everything that's come through in the last 3-4 weeks, we still haven't gotten a drop in my part of town. Everything has just barely missed us or petered out right before getting to us. The storms coming through today formed up about a half mile south of us and moved away. We got a little sprinkle from Harold, but really nothing else since May.

This **** is getting old.

At least it's cooling down. This is the hottest September I can remember. Most of the highs have been above 95 and half above 100. It's like a normal July or August.

Caught a nice turd floater that popped up yesterday afternoon here in the Huebner/Bitters/1604 area. Other than that, been hot and dry as well.

Looks like we may finally catch a break in temps and lack of rain in the next few weeks, but like forecasts in the last 3-4 weeks, expect them to change for the worse.

That POS cell skirted my hood by maybe a half mile. I got just enough to wet the concrete but not under the trees. Sure was active electrically though.

I don't think temps will stay up too high. Days are getting too short. Rain on the other hand... I'll believe it when my yard is soaked through

This whole summer has been depressing and I think it's broken me.

People talk about places like Seattle being depressing due to lack of sunlight, but this summer has been pretty depressing for me because it's just relentless and you know there's seemingly no end in sight.

We got absolutely poured on at Mission Del Lago this morning, but the northside was it's typical desert. Hopefully W-Th-Fr ends this hell hole.

It should. Thursday is looking like 80%-90% chance. Wednesday and Friday are less, but still substantial. Heck, today was like 20%-30% and we finally got a little. Either way, I'm ready for the highs below 90. I've almost forgotten what it feels like.

We took our boat out 0 times. Our 2 favorite ramps were closed before May and we didnt want to deal with the crowds at the other ramps. We normally go out to our friends cabin on Medina and havent been able to do that in years, and we also like to take the boat out to Amistad and havent been able to do that either. Sucks

I took mine out on boat ramp 6 at Canyon Lake that one time just to run the engine. I launched at 7am to beat the crowds. We decided to leave at 1:30pm and it still took us an hour to get loaded up. Complete chit show.

Yep, we just opted to not deal with the BS at the ramps this year. Even our friend that has a slip at the marina stopped going out mid summer because he said it was just god awful crowded all the time.

Had a trip to Fredericksburg this weekend and drove by Blanco and Guadalupe rivers. It was a terrible sight as large sections of both looked bone dry.
