So no matter where I drive in San Antonio it seems that all the roads have potholes and bumps. You can't even go a block without some broken Road.

I'm not sure, but our city taxes or property taxes to cover roads and some sort of way

The damage to my car is unbearable

Yeah, the roads SUCK.

Last week I saw two morons run into each other at the airport (arrivals). I've flown over 2 million miles and never saw that crap. Puro San Antonio.

The roads will be nice once the construction is finished

They are definitely nicer on the northside of town and in the wealthier neighborhoods

Y'all ever been to a another big city?

The roads here aren't top notch, but man, my vehicles don't miss Dallas or Houston roads.

You do know that you can not only file a claim with the city if your vehicle is damaged because of potholes, but you can also report potholes to the city and they will fix it within a few days? Granted their "fix" is simply filling the hole with asphalt, but it's better than nothing.

Should give it a try rather than simply yell at Project Marvel clouds on TexAgs...

I use the 311 app to report potholes all the time. They repair them pretty promptly

The really sad part of this is you could have posted this when Bear Bryant was coaching at A&M, and it would have been just as accurate.
The person that is not willing to fight and die, if need be, for his country has no right to life.

Gonna give this a try. I reported a pot hole in the concrete section of I-10 at the 565 exit (Vance Jackson eastbound) way back in April. It had been there for months at the time. They finally patched it in late August! It was huge…2' across and 8-10" deep. It would ruin wheels and tires if/when hit.

That is TxDOT ROW. 311 is a City function. I don't know if they forward those to TxDOT.

I reported a 12" pothole on our city street Thursday night last week. It was patched by Friday afternoon.

For certain things 311 is great. For other things it still has gaps. I went to an event at the AlamoDome a few weeks back. I saw several emergency routes blocked which I felt was a life safety code violation. The way the app menu is, it did not let me report it as such, so I reported it as someone blocking the sidewalk and included "311 DOESNT ALLOW ME TO REPORT This TO THE PROPER DEPARTMENT. PLEASE FORWARD THIS THE FIRE MARSHALL."
