Both the elected sheriff and the former mayor, who is now running for County Judge, are out with the Anti-Ice protesters.

What the heck has happened to San Antonio and Bexar County?

Plus the "judge" who has been indicted for locking up an attorney because the attorney was trying to get the judge recused!

The only areas keeping Texas conservative are those outside the large metropolitan areas. Everyone thinks Texas is this bastion of conservatism. It is gradually moving away from that and into the blue. Similar to California, the cities - El Paso, Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio - all going blue, if not there now, will control the state.

I am afraid you are right. Still have hope for Fort Worth but the rest of the big cities are gone.

SA is now close to being the largest red city in the US. Hispanics are leaving Democrats. Texas margins in 2024 were more red than previous elections. When GOP turnout is high, the margins are wide.

I will believe this when I see it. Did you see who we just elected as mayor? Did you see that former mayor Pinche Ron is about to be the next County Judge? Have you looked at the resumes of the current SA city council?
