I am looking for someone who can modify an existing granite countertop. Long story short we had to replace our cooktop last fall, and the new cooktop is too large by about 1/4" all the way my around the hole in the countertop. I need the opening ground out to make it larger. I have called several granite installers, and no one wants to do it.

I am generally a DIYer, but 1) I don't want to deal with cleaning up my own dust. I figure a legit contractor has a trick to this, and 2) I and worried I will crack the granite if I don't do it right
