Andre Crabb '97 was C-2.

He was a true renaissance man.

He was in the Corps, on the football team, and it wasn't uncommon to see him playing beautiful piano concertos in the MSC Flagroom between classes.

He was a fine gentleman.

Andre Crabbe, Class of 1997.
Played Defensive Line - Nose Guard (Nose Tackle)
Corps of Cadets - 1st Regiment, 7th Battalion, Company C-2

I should know since I was also in C-2 class of 1997.

Maybe instead of marching in with the balance of the Corp, they can where a patch on their football uni somewhere that designates their company?

Just a thought.

This is the Andre Crabbe '97 mentioned above above. Was not, however, in E-1. I was in Old Cock Company, Company C-2. I walked on as a D-lineman. Only got a little playing time over my 4 year on the team. Any time playing D on Kyle Field was an honor and a thrill thanks to the 12th Man #godblessthe12thman. To set the record strait I was allowed to march-in at home games. I made it a point to march-in at least 2 times each year with my unit & as a member of the 1st Regiment Staff my Sr. year. It was just a crazy rush to get to the locker room, get suited up, taped, and ready for warm-up. Even crazier was finding some one to pull boots. I took a fish with me one time and got a trainer to pull later that season. It was as awesome privilege to be a part of two great traditions at A&M - The Fight'in Texas Aggie Football and the Fight'in Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets. Gig'em & God bless.

Back in the 60's quite a few football team members were in the Corps. This was even after it was non compulsory and several of my class mates who were on the team were commissioned.
