Do fish still whip out? Do they still wear fish cuts? Can a fish still pull a seniors boots in the middle of the day? Are there still push-ups, running and other calisthenics? Do you still have to wire your hole? Do you sound off on the quad if a zip asks you what outfit you're in?

I know I'm missing a lot, but if these things remain then I'm fine with that. I understand high porting the guidon is gone, but what about rifles? I'm glad that the Corps has grown, it is just what A&M needs.

1. Whip out? Yes, some more than others, as always.
2. Fish cuts, but they have become slightly longer. Can't remember the specs off-hand.
3. Yes, the fish not pulling boots was put out there and then struck down. My fish there today is pulling boots, and during the academic day, although I think they are not in trouble if they don't come upon a general request. Most consider it good bull and happily do it.
4. There is PT. It is limited, and I think only to outfit PT and possibly during "training time." (I have a hard time with that concept, trying to think of any time that wasn't "training time" when I was there but anyway...)
5. Wired fish holes? Yes
6. Sound off when asked "what outfit"? Yes, though admittedly some fish don't know that in the first weeks of school and learn from a buddy or "helpful pisshead" soon enough.

A lot of good changes, a few not so good, imho. I believe G-Ram said they are down at ~20% attrition (I think that was beginning of fish year to end) and that might not be quite enough. I personally believe discipline is beginning to suffer and people who aren't willing to work aren't punching as readily but rather just hanging around and dragging everyone else down. My $.02.
