I think we've covered most of the usual items that come to mind: gloves, socks, food, toiletries, etc plus fun stuff as well.

Any ideas that might not be obvious?

I know he can get most stuff at Leatherneck, but he spends about 99% of the time at a PB. He's about 3 months in. Any ideas would be helpful.

Also, he's asked for some bigger ticket items for his men: NVG pouches, mast antennas, Garmins, safety sunglasses. We're making this happen.

Your list sounds like if covers the important stuff.

safety sunglasses.

Slightly off topic but that's worrisome (to me) if they are using them outside the wire i.e. as personal protective equipment. Marines should have easy access to the ESS ballistic glasses even if they lost or broke a previous set. The ESS is the standard issue item and they undergo random sampling and testing for lot acceptance by the Marine Corps or DCMA. I am not saying that other brands are not safe but that buying them off the shelf you don't know how rigorously or if they have been independently tested (anyone can advertise ANSI compliance).
