Thanks. I'm not a rookie, nor a 'cruit. There is NO "S" at the end of PSYOP. No, I'm not at Bragg at the moment. I have retired and I live in Bryan. I still have an interest in all matters militarily related.

Thirdspur...you guy's were nice to have as friends. Was assigned to a very small munitions storage base. (so small we had one supply guy). He had a "trade" with the army for an old tank from the army base at nearby Baumholder. (he was trading several cases of AF Blue paint. However our commander (a Lt Col) got cold feet. He was ending his career after being "fired" by SAC.

We were all disappointed. We were going to have our own AF Blue tank setting near the flagpole. Col said he would have a hard time explaining it to his boss. Not sure how the army could "lose" a tank, even it it didn't have an engine.

He did acquire many coveted (by the AF) fatigue jackets which many of us wore.

It was a killer for the taxpayer but we really had fun.......and supply guys could run the world.

2S is a thankless job.

Sadly, the 21A's run the AF and force Supply to be how you get promoted.

As opposed to the Joint World where know one cares!

It is. And it's one of many in the military, of course.

Someone's gotta do 'em, though, right?

And thanks for the story, brazos county observer! Same stuff happens on smaller scales all the time around here lol. Currently working for an LO shop. Being the only supply guy is kinda nice and kinda stressful at the same time. Not a bad gig, though!
