Might be making an international trip in the next year or so. Can I use my CAC card for global entry like I do with TSA pre check?

A cac card cannot be used as a passport unless you present military orders. Even then some countries still require a passport. It's up to you to decide if you want to get a free government passport or pay for a tourist passport. The government passport is supposed to be only used during official government travel but it can still be used as a regular passport.

Yea I already have the passport. I guess what I'm getting at is is there any way to expedite the process through customs with a CAC card much like TSAs pre check when flying domestic.

Just in my experiences, a cac card made no difference in how fast I got through customs.

cac won't work with GE. if you're going to be traveling on a regular basis, GE is worth every penny.

Don't use the red for personal travel. It is only for official travel. Just like you don't use your blue while traveling on orders. Don't make your life hard by mixing them up.
