I salute his years of honorable service.

His remarks at the press conference in effect removed a major potential remedy to such shootings and took it off the table for consideration.

We should review all policies dealing with installation security matters and force protection, to include expanding who can be armed, and who should not. He is now an obstacle to improvement and must go. He is no longer objective.

I expected him to simply state that all options will be looked at. Re-examining Army policy is not going against the chain of command. He has become an impediment and has biased any review.

I don't know but doubt if Pic has ever been in the military, has been on a large milbase or knows anything about the military. The general has handled extremely well all prepared statements and questions. Comes across as a professional. (He is an ROTC grad from Princeton.)

Pretty sure he has no authority over making an Army-wide decision. Unless he was told to make that statement by someone higher up in the chain of command, he should not make that statement.
