Thank a veteran on Monday. Special thanks to Gary Sinise, PBS, and the outstanding artists who put on the concert tonight. If only our veterans could expect that kind of quality in their medical care.

I appreciate the thought 94, but today is not about us living veterans, it is about our brothers and sisters who didn't come home. Thank their families for their unselfish service.

I can't thank the dead, so I tell the living that I remember them. Ain't that hard to figure out what a memorial is. Memorial Day was a great time to raise the issue of veteran medical care...or should we wait until November?

Just stop. Stop and think about what Memorial Day is. Remember the fallen and honor the past. No VA issues, no campaigns. Just remembrance.
