I have had almost the exact same conversation three times now. Twice about the same response. Once the guy actually argued w/me about it. Thought US Soldiers would unquestionably impose martial law on US citizens. Would not budge.

We live with the LARGEST military base in terms of soldiers in the free world at Killeen. TWO DIVISIONS of soldiers AND their armor along with their Apaches. RIGHT THERE!

Why the hell are these folks upset with this exercise ?????

Apparently people think I'm coming to take their guns, enslave them, and send them to Walmart.

I have a hard time even sending my wife to Walmart!

Agreed. And I don't think anyone on this thread is denying that. Just curious what that has to do with the absolutely hilarious panic/uprising that Jade Helm caused among the 'fraidy cats.

I thought the Jade Helm fears were that the military was coming down here to take over and throw us all into Wal Mart prisons. I didn't realize it was about spying on the guy down the street that owns 10 acres and a dog names Fred.
