Our TAMU Veterans Resource Center needs ourhelp to continue holding their Vet Camps each year. They hold 2 per year (Fall
and Spring). These events are held in the MSC and serve as a valuable resource
to help our new student Veterans and their families with information about the
resources available to them both on and off campus. There is a meal provided,
and one $500 scholarship is awarded to a new student Veteran at each event.
This not much, but every dollar counts for our student Veterans and their
families.

These events help to welcome them to Aggieland and acclimate them to campus
life. Each event costs about $2500 (including the $500 scholarships).

Please consider contributing in the name of an Aggie who has served, is
currently serving, or whom we have lost. (Include those names in the donation
comments section)

There will be a display at both events with the names of donors and those whom
they have chosen to honor with their contribution.

I have started the ball rolling with a $500 donation in honor of LTC Roy
Tisdale '92.

We received an amazing gift today that will fully fund one of the Vet Camps!! We are almost there on the second one!! :-)

I'm a member of an Aggie Mothers Club. I'm pretty sure the Federation of Texas A&M Mother's Clubs would be all over this -- and might could help you with additional scholarship $$ as well, and on a more ongoing basis. All mothers clubs funds have been disbursed for this year. Reach out to Federation officers -- or let me know here and I'll get our North Texas clubs to get some help for you.
