Just noticed the pubs page has a lot of the PDF publications now also available in an Epub format.

Recently acquired a Surface Pro and I have TCs, ATTPs, ADRPs, etc in pdf format. I use Adobe to keep notes on these references. It does not seem to be the most user friendly application for doing so. So, I checked out an Epub utilizing Overdrive that I use for library downloads.

Before I commit to one format/TTP over the other, has anyone else cracked the code on this?

Hey Fly, this is off topic, but I too have the Surface Pro. I cannot get the CAC card reader to work, and I have followed the CAC card sight to the T. Have you tried, or been able to get a CAC card reader to work with yours?

Yea, I ran into the same problems. A couple things here - I can only access CAC enabled websites off the 'desktop' Internet Explorer, not the IE that exists off the application menu thing (whatever it's called that shows up when you hit the Windows button).

Next thing, I find I need to go to options and clear the SSL slate quite often. Tools --> Content.

I think I uninstalled and installed Active Client once, but can't remember. Hope that helps. It's been running fine since, but it was frustrating setting up since I set it up just like militarycac.com says.

Thanks for the tip. I am going to completely remove everything that has to do with the reader and everything that was installed the last time I tried to make it work, and try it all over again. I will try the desktop Explorer and see if that will work. Thanks again.

The issue with the iexplorer icons is that one is to the 32 and the other leads to the 64 (I can't remember which one is which). Some sites aren't compatible with one or the other. If the one on the desktop works (just say it is the 32) and you delete the icon on the bar (the 64) and you try dragging the desktop icon down it magically becomes a 64. Weird.

Also, I just checked my email and remembered that I click the second cert. I've always just clicked the top block of the two or three available. Now, I click the second one, as the first won't work.
