Also, I thought about it and this aspect must also be taken seriously. Just meet on the weekends. I know your daughter wants to be with her husband, but there might not be a place for her to live in FL. Also I don't know how much money is available for them or you to spend. Like I said, I think Lafayette or Baton Rouge is halfway, and that might be the best place to hang out, go eat a nice meal, take in a movie, and spend the night friday and Saturday. That way it's only a 4 hour trip for each and it would allow them to see some if each other rather than none. Again, being a military spouse is tough. My wife has put up with 2 deployments and several TDYs. There have been times when I did bring my wife and daughters in extended TDYs, and there were others when I was younger where my wife and I did exactly what I described.
