Aren't the crossed pistols typically MPs?

I was looking MP patches up too.

The other one looks like some branding. I looked up weather symbols first, but found nothing like it.

Those look like unit type identifiers that would be used on a map overlay.

But they don't appear NATO.

The underline in the second is what makes me think this.

A rectangle with one slash is CAV. Crossed slashes is Infantry. A oval means tracks. So added to the original boxes means mechanized CAV or mechanized infantry.

I don't know if the AF, Navy or Marines use the same, but I'd think they would.

If you have Google Chrome, you can just right click the picture and do a reverse image search (search the internet for that picture). Or with another browser you can upload the picture to google for the search. First one hit some results, but the second one looks too much like math apparently. Perhaps edit the second one and try?

I tried google image search on the 2nd one but nothing matched bigtruckguy. Thanks to everyone who took the time to help out.
