Traveling there for work next week. Any dining recommendations in the downtown area? Co-worker chose SpringHill Suites on far southeast side of town off of I-95 so downtown looks like closest area.

Looking for local places....like to avoid chains and get stuff I can't get at home when traveling.

You can't eat there but there is a great Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville.

Been a few years since I traveled there and longer since stationed there but Mash House, 316 Oyster Bar and Luigi's were always great.

Travel west to Pinehurst/Southern Pines. I lived here when I was stationed at Bragg. Each of these restaurants are amazing.

Drum and Quill
Pinehurst Brewing Company
Ironwood Cafe
Elliot's on Linden
The Deuce at Pinehurst Country Club (you can play a little short course at The Cradle or a putting course for free)

Went to Mash House the one other time I was there a few years ago. Forgot about it but will likely go back.

The museum would be great but don't think we'll have much downtime. Providing training to some folks and there is lots to cover

A classmate brought some barbecue from Belton to a tailgate this year. Pretty sure he said it was from Miller's. Good stuff.

Sorry; I saw Bragg/Liberty and for some reason thought Hood/Cavazos. Never mind.

It's not a trip to Bragg if you don't sample all three waffle houses to find your favorite
