Attacked a fedex worker. Rumor is that the fedex worker assaulted his wife? Don't think you can pull a gun like that brother. I'd imagine he will be terminated in short order.

I'd bet money that if your family member was attacked, you might not be in the best frame of mind when you went after the attacker.

That website is shady as hell, what does he claim the driver did?

That is not going to be a career booster for either of them.

From Highway Man's link:

Quote:

multiple witnesses said Cabrera chased the woman, grabbed her from behind, and threw her to the ground. One bystander reportedly intervened and told Cabrera to leave the woman alone. Cabrera then returned to his vehicle and left the scene. The woman told police she was injured during the incident, though Cabrera denied assaulting her, claiming he only tried to grab her phone to delete the pictures.
If the FedEx driver touched her or threw her to the ground, the fight is on. A serious ass kicking would be totally in order, in my opinion (especially if was a spouse or daughter).

The gun will get him in trouble with the Trigon and the Army. It might screw up his lawsuit too.

You are completely out of your ever-loving mind to bring a gun to confront someone in a situation like this.

I saw this on Reddit yesterday and think everyone is very lucky here.

FedEx guy was out of his league and the Bull should have just stuck with punching and kicking. Probably wouldn't have any charges if he did. But he drove a block over to find the FedEx guy; taking away any excuse to draw his pistol or have a claim of self-defense.

If the FedEx guy had just a bit more fight in him, the gun could have gone off in the struggle hitting any number of people. Including people driving down Southwest Parkway. If they wrestled or rolled a few feet over a bullet would have an unobstructed path to the track at South Knoll Elementary.

In the end, a few people got roughed up and will heal. The entire situation is just weird. I wonder what the actual truth is and what prompted a FedEx guy to chase a lady down and throw her to the ground.

I completely understand 'why' the husband did what he did; even though it's a big no-no to use a firearm as an offensive tool versus for self-defense or to save someone else.

People lose their crap over getting filmed and photographed in public. I think that's what the story said about the FedEx guy. He didn't mind his truck being filmed, but he did not want to be filmed personally.

I wonder if the FedEx driver was illegal and was worried about his status. That could account for his actions toward the wife.

I'm going to guess there is a 99% chance this wasn't it. Despite it being legal, most people don't like strangers taking pictures of them. Add in that he was working and she probably wasn't being the sweetest version of herself and suddenly he finds himself doing something stupid.

And if you are correct, doing something to get arrested definitely wasn't his smartest path forward.

Seems like most here don't realize this guy is probably not a bull" like in the old days. Meaning he doesn't work for ROTC or the Trigon, but for Dept of Student Services

Are you sure? If you go to corps.tamu.edu and click on staff, there he is... unless the entire Corps is in the Dept of Student Services.
