Did Texas activate and deploy guardsmen to Chicago? I tried searching but haven't seen a ton on this.

Anyone in the guard get orders to go?

Did units get activated or was this a state wide cattle call for volunteers? There were always guys out of work looking to get some ADT days/pay. Not always the guys you wanted, though. Anyone got hard intel on this?
