My unit had 31 KIAs in my two tours. Including my best friend. It's a tough day for me remembering them all but it has gotten easier over time. Or maybe my anger, frustration, and need to be perfect for them has finally started to wear away. It has been a long time after all and they do say time heals everything. Maybe not heal fully in this case for me, but it does dull the edges considerably I will admit.

No need to pontificate on the significance of today to this board, of course. Just wanted to say I remember those lost. My own personal ones and those I don't know. It is both the least we can do and the most important IMO. Just remember.
