A couple years ago my emails somehow got turned off and I had to contact support to get them back. Same thing happened to one of my buddies within the past year and I just forwarded him the email and he was able to access it with his login.

Trying Whiskey Blendery for the first time today. Definitely a Rye similar to Pikesvilke and a finish that leads to vanilla caramel from the bourbon barrel. It's really good but I'm not sure if it's worth the high cost of $95.

Blendery definitely has a is it worth it vibe but most of everything I have is good. I have a few bottles sitting up there I need to pickup.

I want to figure out a way to do a Texags pick with them if we can keep cost under a C note.

I missed out on that one. My choice. Just too much in inventory right now.

I've actually been a few times to the Blendery, and been treated well each time. They'll let you sample quite a few of their bottles. I'd be down for one from them.

So our barrel is in warehouse H. Here are pics of what we estimate the water level to be. We're hoping it's somewhere else or bottled, but it's likely on the first floor there with other barrel picks or in the bottling shop which would all be under water.

So…I would assume barrels float. I wonder if water is able to get inside and also hoping they don't float into damage.

Fun grabs at Garrison Bros this past Saturday, just happened to be in Fredericksburg and someone mentioned the latest Lady Bird drop was happening. Popped over to Hye and found they had some single barrel cask strength Balmorhea too.

These are commemorative distillery bottles of the single barrel cask strength, no idea if they will start doing more that go out to the wider market for distribution or if they will offer single barrel picks to places like Spec's, Twin, Total Wine, etc. in the future.
