I found a Weller 12 today for $57 and bought it but couldn't believe they had Eagle Rare 10 priced at $50? Crazy how much ER10 has increased in price lately!

Finding that W12 for that price is the shocker to me. I've never come across it at a Spec's or TW, and mom and pop shops mark it close to secondary prices.

I got one two weekends ago at a Specs and paid $47 for it. Still blown away that happened since I've never paid less than $120 or more for one

Longtime relationship with the owner. Only took me four years to get him to turn loose of one!
I've had it at restaurants and bars and it is spectacular. I'll crack this one at Thanksgiving.

Technically Canadian whiskey and not bourbon, but earlier this year I "won" the opportunity from Found North to buy a bottle of Peregrine. Split it four ways with some buds and broke into it today. Really good stuff.

Wife and I found two bottles of Fortaleza Reposado that we grabbed at the new TW here off the shelf. The Total Wine is pretty solid that they just opened up. That Publix was just a total moment of luck. ABC Fine Wine and Spirits in Destin proper is Florida's version of Spec's and they had some stuff of interest sitting there including a ECTBBP pick and some Penelope Valencia bottles as well this week I saw! Did not grab either because I need to limit myself.
