What's the parking situation like at the Smith Street location?

You'll probably have to park on the street and walk a few blocks over.

I may go around 430 today, but also depends on what people report is still available.

I might try to sneak over to Smith St. around lunch time today to see what scraps are left.

Let us know on Smith... that may be my strategy as well. Or just leave it be.

They'll always have some left over store picks and what not in the afternoon. It's the tater stuff and the super sought after niche stuff that will be gone this morning.

They have done wristbands for the last few years using unofficial volunteers. Line checks occur every once in a while and supposedly have booted people. they show up, grab a wristband and leave. Hoping to return morning off I guess.

Spec's employees have the list and respect it. When I went 2 years ago, they had multiple police and used them to enforce the policy.

I heard last year they did wristband to like 200-300 or something. At opening spouses would jump in line at hoping and push the line future back. I think I read the had bands upto 1000.

What's the real benefit to camping out? Do the first 50 or so people have the opportunity to get BTAC, high level Willett, King of Kentucky type of stuff? Or is it literally that you can just pick up allocated bottles like A107, Full Proof type of stuff?

I saw on instagram a Rip10 for #1 and a BTAC-EHT for #3. I think the bigger prizes for those who camped are things like WSiB, EHTBP, HH90, SFTB. There are probably more.

I am sure pics from the top100 will start to emerge once they can legally check out at 10.

So if I were to head up there now, how long till I can go in? Thinking of running over to Irving to see what's left

it'll be awhile. My buddy said he's still standing in line. I'd wait until the afternoon. However, he said there are way less people in line this year due to cold and timing (Monday and people at work).

I did. I can't stop by today anyways. On duty in marked car and uniform. Bummer. I did stop by Christmas Eve and grab a Fortaleza Blanco and Smokeye Hill Barrel select 5yr though.

No question. I got to the Midtown Spec's at 11:20 and I'm almost to the door though. Not near the chaos of last year it seems based on what some of you said.

I'm curious about their current status as well.

Drove by this morning on my way to work, and the lot was packed, with people wrapped around the back. I guess that's just like the other sites. I decided to not even try going over lunch, but will check it out on my way home.

I shouldn't complain. I've gotten some good bottles in the last few weeks (THH and EHT barrel proof from the Specs vault, for example), but it really would have been nice to have had the option to see what I could have gotten this morning!

I think Irving location will be pretty easy to get into after 4pm. When I left the line looked to be about 1-2 hour wait. You should be able to get a lot of good stuff still. Lots of ER10, Blantons, OFSBBS, and others.

Those are just the homeless people hanging out.

Austin store has still a bit of line. Probably about 60-75.
Sounds like Stagg just ran out and Weller 107 is close to being out.
