I was at Michter's at 8:15 this morning and was 3rd in line. Number 4 showed up at 8:45. He talked his wife into going to Old Forester and waiting line there. She was 3rd. As soon as Michter's open their doors she texted him and said they had 60 bottles of the Birthday. Figured I choose poorly. Bought the Michter's and speed walked the half mile, walked right in, no line and got one. Around 10:20 am. Probably had 10 bottles left.

Going to Louisville tomorrow, then Lexington the rest of the week for the SEC softball tourney. Anyone got any bourbon spot recs? I've already got distillery tours booked to the best of my ability. Depends on how the Ags do Wed-Sat!

The Brown Hotel
Watch Hill Proper if you are able to drive a bit outside Louisville
Neat Bourbon Bar and Bottle Shop
Hell or High Water
Repeal Steakhouse
Rooftop Bar at Hotel Genevieve
North of Bourbon - LOVE this place. Awesome New Orleans style food.
Rooftop Bar at Copper & Kings - Love Copper & Kings but has changed ownership since the last time I've been so not sure what the experience is like now.

I haven't been to the Nulu Tasting Room but HIGHLY recommend the Frankfort Farm experience if you are able to make it out that way.

Glens Creek and Castle & Key are out by it as well so can make a nice day of it.
