Tonight I am smoking The Wise Man Maduro by Foundation cigars. Been a couple of years since I have had one of these. Really good Maduro!

I use the cigar oasis for the humidifier and also three battery hygrometers. And just try to split the difference To keep it at 70

I got lucky
I was on TGT and this guy was selling his humidor and I had been smoking cigars for about 4 years and really at the time did not realize what I was doing or buying
He wanted 2500 at first and I just did not know enoigh and I am glad I did not as I look back
Anyways. He said he has cigars and humidor he is getting rid of and he aent me the manufacturer of the humidor and it was 1400 plus tax and shipping. So I offered 1800 and never heard back from here
8 months later somehow i was looking thru emails and saw his name and contacted hom again. He reaponded and I offered 1400. He accepted and I went to pick up
Well again did not know that much but I knew there was alot of cigars and I picked it up. Now I took a chance on the cigars because all the beads in the cigar oasis was dried which means they had not been humidored and they could be dry and worthless
Anyways. Brought home. Started researching and had about 6000 worth of cigars
Started the humidor up and it was going thru a gallon of water a week for over a month and now two years later still have alot of the cigars still
And only 6 ounces a week now if that

Trying the Oliva Connecticut reserve. So far not a fan.

I think so. I've had an RJ and Ashton 898 that I think are in the same category. This is less creamy/nutty To me and more pepper/cedar. Could be bc I'm enjoying more Maduros lately.

There is another place in addison. I dont remember it was about 5-6 years ago and it is a hole in the wall. Good food and cheap drinks at the time. Just a bunch of old smokers

I bought a box of those years ago and they had the worst tight draw I have ever experienced. I was shocked and appalled. I've never given them another chance, even though they are highly regarded smokes.
Not my experience I throw them away if that but I am not loyal to any cigar and I would assume somebody at some time got the same batch that you are referring to
But I smoke alot of cigars but I am not a cigar guy that you ask for a preference

Update: I don't think I've ever had a cigar this smooth from start to finish. If anything it may be too smooth, but the flavor is sweet and mild. The burn was even throughout. I am impressed.

Well. I have no palate. I was always pretty sure I did not but today it was verified
Went to circle K and got a diet pepsi. Diet dr pepper. And a coke
I got the diet pepsi for me and normally I would mark mine somehow so I could drink it on the way home. But as you can guess I could not tell which was mine until my wife told me
Anyway i tell you this because I am very sad that when yall post and say the taste was In your cigar I will never have that experience
Anyways. That is why on my top shelf I have 18-30 dollar cigars that only when somebody comes over that I know that has that taste do they get one. And I am stuck with md2020 wine and 3 dollar cigars.

Montecristo Nicaragua Series tonight, it's alright but won't buy it again as there are better smokes at a lower price point in my opinion. Could be my palate and sinuses are off as I made homemeade beef tallow all day so that could be a residual issue on the taste.
