Can yall assist in confirming the age of my pappy 20 year. Pretty sure it's 2011 but want to confirm since the year makes a decent difference…. The printing on the inside of the bottle is just at the bottom of the label (behind the label, not below it) and reads K2591110:26.

My expert google skills show it was bottling line K, the 259th day of the year, bottled in '11 at 10:26.

Couldn't get a good picture of the date code since it's under the label itself…

Well I posted on Facebook asking for a valuation and got a couple of really helpful posts, a bunch of people telling me I'm a scammer and my Facebook profile doesn't exist, and a couple dozen messages asking to buy them…..

In the last 6 months, every PVW 20 that I know of from 2011 has sold between 3100 and 3600. I wouldn't go any lower than that range if I was you

Hey any one able to help out with a value here? My brother got lucky in Dallas and picked up a Willett Purple Top (9 year), original mashbill (barrel 2891), 132.8 proof. Back label says "lion and coyote"

In October that one traded for a 2020 GTS
Only other one I see is for trade guy is looking for a certain 7 year or 8 year barrel

Just an observation of mine; I wouldn't look to be buying anything secondary for a little while. Looks like the market is getting pretty soft right now and some better deals can be had.

Goal this year is to consolidate my bourbon dollars for a few unicorn bottles so I'm going to be watching the secondary closely. My wife just wants me to bring home less glass for the shelves.
