Does anyone have one of these or have you used one? Looking at putting one in house I'm building but wanted some opinions/reviews before I pull the trigger considering the cost. Thanks.

It looks very clean and love the functions. Consumer Reports hasn't reviewed it yet but I doubt it does all 5 things well. I assume you will have a 2nd full size oven? I'd be most skeptical of the precision capabilities then the convection.

Sorry for delay. Didn't realize there was a response. I'll have a double oven in addition to this. The videos/reviews I've seen have been pretty impressive. Hope it performs as well as they make it seem.

Making things sound sciency and technological by tacking "-ium" on the end pisses me off.

My parents put one in their kitchen during a remodel around '06. They have a galley style kitchen that's limited in cabinet space and couldn't justify a second oven for the 2x a year it might get used.
Besides microwaving, it primarily gets used for baking off quick frozen foods (rolls, appetizers, etc), small prepared foods, and during the holidays it's used for cooking the casseroles and dressings.

C'm on man. That's serious cookware. I bet every house that has one of those has a matched set of German knives or Cutcolol in a butcher block nearby.

Ha. I do have a cutco set that someone got me when I got married 12 years ago. Never use them. They're crap. My favorite knife is actually one I got off kickstarter a few years ago, called Misen. I "invested" in it at I think $40 and I use it every day and have never sharpened it. Really good knife. Think they're about $65 now.

Edit to include knife link...Misen Chef Knife

People that "have never sharpened" their knives either a) don't use them or b) have dull knives.

Fight me.

I know I know...I don't know how they do it but that knife is still very sharp and it's my daily knife. I've got a Shun that was way more expensive and it had to be sharpened all the time so I stopped using it.
