Wine.

I stay very simple on apps for Thanksgiving because it's a big meal. Usually just some cheese, crackers, dried sausage.

I usually go light as well but blue cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon are a great holiday app.

I agree with keeping it simple. We typically do a cheeseball, veggies and ranch, and a fruit tray.

Cream cheesed jalepenos with bacon wrapped around it.

Poblano mushrooms filled with cream cheese and crushed bacon bits with mozzarella cheese on top.

Deviled eggs with crumbled bacon on top. Can also drop or two Thai Chile sauce. Also like peanut butter on celery.
