Any good recipes? We prefer softer like you get at Uncle Julio's, Blue Goose, Taco Cabana.

Chuy's look nice but taste too powdery/floury.

Personally I like them this way, much flatter if you hold or greatly reduce the baking powder. Homemade tortillas are THE BEST, so much better flavor and not much work. You can try different fats as well, butter, lard, even bacon drippings.

I have no delusions that these are as good as homemade, but the refrigerated tortilla dough in the canned biscuits area at HEB are pretty tasty and ridiculously convenient.

It's not a recipe but I like the packaged La Abuela tortillas as I don't like super doughy or thick tortillas. La Abuelas cook up nicely in about a minute and I can easily crisp them up when making quesadillas.

The most underrated sit com of all time, almost no one gets it when I reference that show. Phil Hartman's best work until his damn wife murdered him. Rogan talks about him on occasion, he was getting to his breaking point with her but he also knew the divorce would be crippling, but she made him miserable. He was also Jon Lovitz's best friend evidently, and the death just about ruined him he was so devastated. I always enjoy it when he throws in a Newsradio story, just doesn't happen often. Hartman was a genius, one of a kind.
