Was wondering if someone could help me out. I moved to St. George, Utah in January and just about out of the oak I brought for the smoker. Does anyone know of a place around Southern Utah or Las Vegas to get post oak? Or has anyone used any of the online wood services?

Thanks

This is the only answer

https://www.cattlemansgrill.com/products/cattlemans-grill-split-wood

Shipping to me in WA was more than the wood almost - but it was a damn good product

I buy chunks online from Fruita Wood Supply. Looks like they do larger splits.

I've used fruitawood as well but for chunks. Not logs. Remember shipping being decent

You find me a private land mule deer hunt, and I'll bring you a trailer load of Texas oak!

Going to give Fruitawood a shot and see how it is. $90 for 50 pounds

Go find 546E 200S. My childhood home from age 5-8 in 1966-69. Ask an old timer I'd they remember a small Air Force base on top of the "Black Hill". My dad was commander.

You should be able to find maple in Utah. Great for anything but beef. Great for chicken, turkey, sausage, and especially pork. Not great for brisket, but will do in a pinch.
It takes a special kind of brainwashed useful idiot to politically defend government fraud, waste, and abuse.
