Last Christmas, some friends of my wife sent a gift pack of assorted steaks from Omaha Steaks. I was very skeptical. We ended up grilling them...boneless pork chops, some chicken breasts, and finally, some filets and top sirloins. They actually exceeded my expectations (though the bar was set rather low). I'm not disagreeing with you...but I think they may have stepped up their quality.

Years ago, I did some work for Lobel of New York. Top notch family and top notch product. If price is no object and superb quality is what you desire, they have a great product. And for what it's worth, they were very complimentary of the Allen Brothers products.
