What's the name of the cookware store in Houston I've seen folks talk about on this board? Tried to google and search and none of the names jumped out at me. Looking to buy some new pots and pans.

I could have sworn there was a particular store all the H-town folks recommended for good value on quality cookware and knives, and that it was where pro chefs/restaurants went, but I'm not sure which it was. Maybe Acemart. I was going to check it out this weekend while I was down there but it's closed on Sundays. Maybe I'm misremembering.

Just know that when you get restaurant cookware, very rarely do you get the stuff that looks great and can hang up in your kitchen on a pot rack (if that's your wife's style). You get stuff that is going to be a workhorse, be a great tool for cooking, but is meant to be in a commercial (invisible to the end consumer) kitchen.

My wife looks good in the kitchen and that's enough for me; I only care about functionality for my cookware.

Pretty sure Acemart is always the recommendation for quality not fancy pans, knives, etc. But yes, I think they're all closed on the weekend. Took me forever to get over there to get my BIL a new pizza peel on a weekday and I live right by one.
