Ever since having kids (we have three boys all 6 or under) the NYE party scene has been sidelined for us. Which has actually turned into one of our favorite occasions for fancy homemade cocktails and a nice date night-style dinner after the kids are in bed. This year, we'll be making our usual menu including:
Reverse seared prime NY Strip or filet, depending on what looks best
Seared jumbo scallops
Hot smash garlic new potatoes
Grilled broccolini or asparagus
Some form of dinner bread
My wife will also likely throw together a serious charcuterie board ahead of time/during the CFP games.
Any special recipes or traditions you like to follow while ringing in the New Year?
