Picked up my bottle today. Thanks betadawg1 for bringing to CS! First bottle of New Riff ever. Really nice pour and one of the most complex and longest tails I've ever experienced on a finish. Does anyone else get cinnamon on the finish?

I haven't opened mine yet because I'm still having smell issues. How do you think this one compares to our other New Riff pick?

Curious what others think, how does this compare with other bottles of New Riff? My first NR taste and it's just so flavorful and complex. So pleasant and I wish I'd have bought at least one more bottle.
New Riff is all over the map with their single barrels. Usually you get some consistency within a distillery, but their stuff is anything but. The 5 barrels we picked from were nothing alike.

You can also thank SpiderDude, Sazerac, and AGdent07 (among others). There were some differing opinions on a few of the barrels but I think we ended up with a winner. I had actually initially crossed this barrel off but Sazerac pulled me back in. Glad to hear everyone is enjoying it.

I'm sure that's why it was my strong preference, that the way I lean on bourbon.
It's not quite as good of a pour IMO
If this New Riff pick was available all the time on shelves at $50 it would have to be up there as best bang for the buck with things like OF1920, Rare Breed, etc.
