A couple weeks ago we grilled the HEB patties and I noticed that a few of them puffed up in the middle but didn't think anything of it. I used my thermapen to make sure they were around medium. My wife makes our girls their burger and then proceeds to slice it half for them and it gushes blood like a fruit gusher candy. The patty looks like there is a horizontal slice in the middle. Anyone else experience this? I guess if it happens again I should cut a slit in it to release some of the juice?
