I did not search for a thread - has anyone used them first hand?
Internet reviews are mixed bag.

I'm not seriously considering buying them, just curious for a general discussion.

I like them a lot. Bought one skillet and liked it enough to buy a small set and another as a gift. I still use my cast iron, but use the Hexclad for many things.

How do you find the searing? I've read it doesn't do that great, is that why you still use your cast iron?

I think they are pretty good, but yeah, that is where I like my cast iron. I just haven't used them that much for that since I like my cast iron so much.

It is towards the end of this video. America's Test Kitchen was not impressed and I have seen others point out similar issues as well.

If you're looking for a great performing pan and are willing to spend a little, I recommend Made In.

I second this. Their non stick is the best I've ever seen.

Hexclad is a gimmick. I prefer stainless and cast iron/carbon steel. I have one small and one large dedicated non stick.

Just picked up a Carbon Steel pan from Made In that has quickly become my favorite pan in the kitchen. Awesome quality stuff.

This is what I've heard too. Good marketing, but doesn't hold up. Non-stick is just very fragile. You're better off buying a dedicated non-stick for things you really need it for, and then buying stainless/carbon steel or even cast iron for most other things.

Bought a 10 inch Made In a few weeks ago. Awesome pan so far.

I have a full set of All Clad stainless that I love but my Made In carbon Steele is by far my most used pan.

My wife fell victim to the constant social media advertising from Our Place, it's a ceramic non stick skillet.

That thing sucks. Handle cracked. Got the heat "too high" so lost some of it's nonstick properties. Read the care details, says only use low-medium heat, wth?
