I've been rocking my Joule for a 7 years or so. I don't use it weekly but it still works flawlessly every damn time.
Dropped a stuffed boneless turkey in a bath for 8 hours on Thanksgiving. Perfect.

I've got a 1st generation joule as well that I have been running regularly since 2017. The original base/stand came apart on mine and Breville replaced it in the last year, no questions asked.
Also on the first generation joule. Could have sworn I saw something where first generation openers could upgrade at a pretty good price. But can't seem to find it now.
