I started growing my own Greek pepperoncinis.

I have Googled, gaggled, and giggled.

I simply cannot find a pickling recipe that gets that same taste as Greek pepperoncinis as Papa John's or even store bought, etc.

I even spoke to multiple Papa John's corporate entities. They buy all their pepperoncinis from Turkey, but said they already come pickled, etc.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I use my standard dill pickle brine (brine only, no dill) and drop a clove of garlic in the bottom of the jar first. No idea how the Turks do it, but I think the peppers are tasty.

Have you tried just using a basic pickling recipe (pickling salt, 1:2 vinegar to water solution) for the brine, and pickling them in that?

I'd start with making a brine you like the taste of, and then go from there.
