A recipe in a Greek cookbook I bought last year. Slice oranges, put a healthy pour of quality olive oil on the slices, sprinkle with sea salt, then a healthy dash of cayenne.
I like the cutie mandarin oranges when in season and a nice flaky maldon salt.
The first bite is always….different. Then the rest I'm using the oranges to mop the oil and spice up to a clean bowl. It is a wildly addictive flavor combo. I've also done this with sweet blueberries and it was great.
