So a quick google search says a barrel typically yields 200 bottles. This is capped at 120 ???

What's a barrel of 4 roses cost ?

This is barrel strength, so won't be 200 bottles. The pick team keeps some and the liquor store will keep some. 4 roses distillery will bottle everything then send to the liquor store in Houston for us to pick up.

No cost savings. The 4 roses single barrels don't sit on shelves long and each barrel is unique so it's just a fun thing for whiskey dorks to enjoy.

The higher the proof, typically the fewer bottles you get out of the barrel, but the final count is typically not known until dumped for bottling.

We're buying the barrel, but actually we're buying the bottles from the barrel already bottled by four roses and sent to the liquor store where we purchase them .

Depends on the size and age of the barrel. We also have to provide some to the liquor store partnering with us

It's a bourbon nerd thing. It's picking a single barrel that we think is the best from the samples we were sent.

The same way all brown water gets into bottles. The distillery will bottle and label it then ship it to the distributor who delivers it to the store. Our mules will show up and purchase the bottles then make sure they get to each of us

Depends on the distillery, but 6 months or so is not unusual.

Minimum 3 months would be my guess. Probably closer to 6.
