Not in the Med Center but Coastline Pizza on Houston Ave is worth the short trip from the Med Center.

The best pizza in that area is Bollo, but it's not a "by the slice" style place. Nonno's on Richmond is good as well but also requires purchase of an entire pie. If you only want a slice, Pink's on Bissonnet is decent.
