I'm looking to buy a gift for someone who enjoys cooking/baking/grilling.
Any ideas for a useful kitchen gadget would be appreciated.

Maldon salt and a nice salt cellar is my go to for kitchen related gifts or anytime i need something last minute. I bought myself the same thing and I use it almost every dayagcrock2005 said:
In addition to thermapen and sous vide, here's some random things I've bought fairly recently that I like.
Wooden Salt Box
Kitchen tweezers
Battery powered salt and pepper mills
Potato Ricer
Searpro
Malden salt
Scraper/Chopper
Microplane
Sauce Whisk
I recommend buying at least two. Easier to always have a clean one that way.Agasaurus Tex said:
Just ordered one of these as a gift to myself.
Wirecutter is always a good place to start . . .Matsui said:
What are 3-4 rice cooker suggestions? I don't have one but want to get one.
I got this Toshiba one last year and it's great. Can steam stuff in it with the rice as well. Not sure what makes a Zojirushi better, but they're top of every list I looked at.Matsui said:
