Amazing aesthetics, terrible food.

They were out of jalepeno sausage so I settled for a polish sausage. None of the items were even smoked. No sliced brisket available and just ketchup tasting chopped brisket.

The best thing on the plate were the green beans with onions and bacon.

Should have just went to Wendy's. I should have known better.

Looks like it was cooked in a crock pot.

Edit to add. We were in Stowe Vermont last summer and I took a chance on BBQ at a brewery. It was absolutely the best brisket I have had outside of Texas. It was served with waffle fries and coleslaw, and no pickles onions or peppers which was weird to me but the brisket was good. The guy asked me for pointers to make it more like Texas BBQ and I gladly obliged.



The very next day we went to another brewery (Hill Farmstead) and they had a BBQ food truck so I decided to try again and got the "sliced Brisket" sandwich. The meat was tough and cut into 3/4 to 1 in cubes. 2/10 wnb. At least I got pickles and onions.

Used to spend a lot of time in Ogden for work. The only place that was above average was Slackwater Pizza.

As a resident of Ogden, UT, the BBQ is awful.

It always struck me so weird out here that everyone hates BBQ, then I tasted what they had to offer. OMG. It has led me to learn how to make good BBQ though. Just difficult to find oak to smoke with...

If you are in the SLC/PC area you are not far from High West Distillery. They have a really good restaurant on site at the distillery and one in PC. Cool tour and tasting experience as well.

Awesome...

We went to the distillery in the summer of 23...it is a gorgeous setting. Food was amazing.

Eaten at the spot in town a couple of times as well.

Beautiful country. Hate I am missing the ski season this year.
