We paid $3.77lb today but it was because it was just a half sack. These were the dirtiest batch we've had all season.

I just paid about $2.50 a lb for a half sack from Brookshires. They cleaned up nice and were delicious. Sorry no pics.

Lake Charles in 2 weeks…..looking forward to that tail end of the season gorging.

Do y'all think they will still be good on fathers's day?

Should still be available but less abundant. Most of the farm harvest will likely be mature with harder shells and less plump "fat", but tail meat will still be good. Size will likely be highly variable depending on location. Often the best quality this time of year will come from the wild harvest from the Atchafalaya Basin if you can find them.

We had them last Father's Day and they were still good. A little harder shells like mentioned but still tasted great.

Thanks guys. Thought that maybe this year would have the good crawfish later since it started a little later due to the weather.
