Not specific to this barrel, but I recently talked to a national buyer from total wine and they're having big delays on any of the Penelope specialty picks. Sounds like there may be a pretty sizable backlog of distribution they're working through on the distillery side, so likely impacting our barrel to some extent.

TW expected it to resolve by end of year but that's not happening (at least for the 13yr estate)

I was notified a couple months ago that the barrel was ready (to be bottled). He then asked what we wanted to put on the bottle. Doing the same logo as our 4 Roses pick. Not sure how long this process will take. I know they ship to main distribution center in LA and then it is sent to Richmond, TX. Should be coming to us pretty soon. I remember the 4 Roses took a few months to finalize. Hold tight.

I was at the Specs on Spring Cypress/249 in Tomball and they had just put out about 6 bottles of the Penelope Project X on the allocated counter, if anyone is interested in going to pick one up.

Edit: This is the NOT the TexAgs pick. Just mentioned it in case anyone wanted to try the Project X before our bottles come in.

They are. Remedy is in Houston (sugarland) so it needs an Austin mule. In fact we will have that mule from now on since we had some issues with people wanting bottles but them stiffing us on the bill

Houston folks who have already paid for this, happy to do whatever is easiest. Suggest once we know the date of pickup we come up with a gameplan in case the date doesn't work for individuals? Happy to work with however y'all want to play it.
