Seems you did pretty well.
In my local grocery store, they only have Chicken of the Sea and Starkist. In the only other grocery store in the county, they also have the Genova tuna which I decided to try out.
There's a United Grocery Store about 35 miles from my office and they apparently have a couple of other premium brands. The next time I go there, I may get a couple cans of each.
I made tuna fish sandwiches and the Genova doesn't taste as fishy as Chicken of the Sea or Starkist. Of course, the best test is after the flavors meld together in the refrigerator overnight.
One thing that I've thought of for tuna sandwiches is to buy a tuna fillet, broil or pan fry it, separate into chunks, and make tuna sandwiches with that. In my tuna sandwiches, I add chopped pickles, one chopped onions (used a red onion this time), slicked celery, sliced hard boiled egg, and mayonnaise to hold it all together.
