As many of you know, throughout this past winter TexAgs had numerous issues delivering video to our users as we fell victim to the maneuverings of large internet providers in our area. Once it was determined that these providers were not committed to resolving the issues on their own, we put in motion a change of service and upgrade plan to combat the situation.

As of last week, I am glad to announce the completion of our migration to the Akamai network. Akamai delivers 15-30% of all web traffic on a daily basis and is trusted by thousands of companies across the globe, including the top 30 media companies, 150 of the world’s leading news portals and all major U.S. sports leagues.

This move marks an important step in the growth of our content delivery system. We apologize for the difficulty many of you had over the past months, and we hope this change demonstrates our continued commitment to greater excellence in serving the TexAgs and Aggie communities.

As we move forward, if any of you continue to have issues, please do not hesitate to contact me through the Technical Support forum, by Private Message or via email.

Josh
