only real way to get the URL is to run a search for that post and copy the link that way

sounds good. Minor feature but I'd find it very useful as would others I think.

I'd give anything to see your to-do list for the site. Looking forward to when v4 thread listing pages finally roll onto the production servers! The https bug, in particular, I'm glad will one day be gone.
